Mac Basics

What: This meeting takes a look at how to operate a Macintosh computer from the perspective of a new user or someone shifting over from a Windows computing environment.

Advanced Applications

What: Each month’s meeting will look at one particular application or topic. These will generally be of interest to fewer members than our main meetings, but all members who are interested in the topic are welcome to attend. We may spread some topics over two or three months if they are too big to cover in a single meeting.

These groups are an opportunity for members to participate with other members with similar interests for the benefit of all concerned. Remeber that you can only get out in proportion to what you put in and this is one way to get more out of your membership to our society. Check the announcement forum to find out when the next meetings are to be held. If you wish to attend a meeting, it would be helpful if you could register your details. All meetings, unless otherwise noted, are held at Turnbull House, 11 Bowen Street, Wellington from 7 till 9pm.
